Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass
Capt Dave reports more improvement today on the Viking Starship. The water is getting cleaner and the fishing has improved. We had some dogfish with Porgies and SeaBass mixed in, but they were manageable. We made two drops today. On the first one we saw a mix of medium Porgies and a lot of small SeaBass with some big ones mixed in. We then went to the deeper grounds and found bigger SeaBass up to 6 lbs along with some Cod, Pollock, and Bluefish. The pool winner was Ifa Gordon from Bronx, NY with a 3.8 lb Porgy. The weather is looking great for tomorrow! The office will open at 4am for ticket sales.
