Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass
Capt Dave reports a good day on the Viking Star. The first drop was a tough pick with mostly smaller Porgies and SeaBass. We made a move to the east an found really nice quality SeaBass in the 4 to 5 lb range. The Porgies were tough to find today, but everybody had a handful. There were also about 5 Cod in the teens and some Bluefish. The first place pool winner was Alphanso Benjamin from Bronx, NY with a 2.3 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Shihai Zheng from Brooklyn with a 14 lb Cod fish. Unfortunately Saturday’s trip is CANCELLED due to the weather.
