Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass
Capt Dave reports a tough day on the grounds today with the dirty water and windy conditions in the morning. We started out catching a lot of little Seabass, but by the end everyone had their limit of keepers. There were not a lot of Porgies, but the ones we found were large. We also had a couple of Cod and Pollock. The first place pool winner was “Fatman C” from Wappinger’s Falls, NY with a 2 1/2 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Denny Hou from Queens. NY with an 11 lb Cod. Hopefully the water will settle for tomorrow’s trip. The weather looks great!
