Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass
Captain Dave reports another great day of fishing on the Viking Star. We had an excellent Porgy bite with a steady pick of really good size fish. The SeaBass was a tough pick with short fish, but everyone managed a few keepers. Today was the first day almost everybody had at least one Cod! The first place pool winner was us Yadaicela from Queens, NY with a 3.6 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Joses Hernandez from Queens, NY with a 17 lb Cod. Unfortunately we are CANCELLED tomorrow due to weather, but we look forward to getting back out there next week.
