Montauk Spring Jumbo Porgies
Capt Dave reports a decent day on the Viking Starship. We tried the closer spot to start out, but is was slow. So we took the long ride and found a slow pick of good size Porgies. We also had a few Weakfish, a couple of keeper Fluke and a lot of Sea Robbins. The first place pool winner was Jose from Hempstead with a Jumbo 4 Lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Angel from Manhattan, NY with a 3 lb Fluke. We will be sailing Sunday and Monday at 4am on the 140′ Viking Starship. On Tuesday May 28th we will begin sailing at 5am.
