Montauk Spring Jumbo Porgies
Capt Dave reports a tougher than usual day on the Viking Starship. We tried out the close spot to start, but the bite was slow. We took the long ride and had a slow pick with some Jumbos in the mix. We also had some Bluefish. The first place winner was Patrick Smith from Roselle, NJ with a 4 1/4 lb Scup. The edible pool winner was Nolan Maiks from Valley Stream, Long Island with a 3 lb Bluefish. Capt Dave is hopeful we will be fishing by the lighthouse soon!
