Sat June 22 – Montauk Jumbo Lighthouse Porgies

  Capt Dave reports a slow pick on the Viking Star. The Porgy fishing was tough today, but we did have some Jumbo Scup and everyone managed to put a catch together. There were also some Bluefish, Fluke and throwback SeaBass. With the amount of SeaBass we have been seeing on all of our trips we are looking forward to the opening day of SeaBass tomorrow! The first place pool winner was Marcio Dasilua from New Jersey with a 4 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Julio Rivera with a 5 lb Bluefish.
