Tue July 2 – Viking Fivestar – 2 Day Inshore Block Island Layover

Capt Steven Jr reports a tough trip overall. On day one we started off at the point and caught a couple Striped Bass before heading to Block Island. The Fluke fishing around Block was very slow. We only had a couple of keepers, but did manage a nice handful of SeaBass. The second day we started of SeaBassing and had tons of action, but we had to work through the shorts to find the keepers. From there we worked towards Montauk Fluking the rest of the day and had plenty of action, but the keepers were hard to come by. We did have some quality SeaBass and some Porgies in the mix.
