Fri Aug 9 – Montauk Jumbo Lighthouse & Porgies
Capt Dave reports a good fishing on the Viking Starship. It was a slower start today, but we had some nice big Porgies at the lighthouse. We caught plenty of short SeaBass offshore. The jumbos were harder to come by, but everyone managed their limit. The first place pool winner was Charles Powell from Baldwin, NY with a 2.7 lb Scup. The edible pool winner was Mike Robinson with a 3.1 lb SeaBass.
