Sun Aug 18- Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass.

Fabulous fishing in the fog! Captain Dave reports from the Viking Starship. We had excellent conditions around the lighthouse where we had very good Porgy fishing. Later we did a Sea Bass drift out closer to Block Island where we got great action but had to pick through a lot of shorts in the beginning. Fortunately there were plenty of quality keeper Sea Bass and plenty of large Porgies in the mix. The 1st place pool winner was Warren Bennett from Bristol PA, with a 2.2 lb Porgy. The second place pool winner was Ravi Ramodass from Bronx NY, with a 4.2 lb Sea Bass.
