Wed Aug 28 – Montauk Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass

Capt Dave reports excellent fishing on the Viking Star today. We had Big Big Porgies and plenty of them at the lighthouse. There were also a bunch of Bluefish. We also headed offshore for a quick drift and almost everyone had their limit of keeper SeaBass. There were also some keeper Fluke up to 5 lbs. Unfortunately the angler with the biggest Fluke was not in the pool! The first place pool winner was Chief Johnson from Brooklyn, NY with a 3.1 lb Scup. The edible pool winner was Amin Paredes from NY, NY with a 3.7 lb Sea Bass.
