Mon Sept 16 – Block Island Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass

Captain Dave reports another excellent day fishing on the Viking Starship.  Today we got to a spot that consistently had the rods bending with nice size Porgies and quality Sea Bass.  The crew and anglers liked this spot so much we didn’t move until we sailed back to Montauk.  First place in the pool went to Danny Hsu of East Meadow, Long Island, N.Y. with a 3.2 pound Scup.  Second place in the pool went to “Tonyfish” of Brooklyn, N.Y. with a 3.7 pound Sea Bass.
