Sat Sept 21- Striped Bass Fishing

Another night hunting the elusive Striped Bass that swims in legal waters! Captain Jerry reports a better night on the Viking Starship. We started out jigging and after dark used live eels. Anglers did bring in some Striped Bass and were especially disappointed when short by an inch or two. We did get a keeper! Our pool winner was Mike Gundolfo of Shirley, NY with a 15 pound Striped Bass. Our second place pool winner was Nathan Calisi of Holtsville, NY with a 9 pound Bluefish. All our anglers enjoyed a beautiful evening on the water catching and releasing Striped Bass and taking home some Bluefish to make smoked fish dip for the holidays. The hunt continues Friday September 27th and Saturday September 28th. We leave the dock at 6PM and return at Midnight.
