Sat Sept 28 – Striped Bass Fishing

Captain Jerry reports another evening of stalking the elusive Striped Bass on the Viking Star.  Tonight we did catch a over 30 large Bluefish and anglers did bring aboard a few short Striped Bass, but a lovely large Striped Bass got away within sight of the boat, but just out of reach of our longest gaff.  Hopefully the cooler temperatures this week will bring the Striped Bass closer to Montauk into legal waters.  We continue the hunt this Friday October 4th and Saturday October 5th 6PM to midnight.
