Mon Sept 30- Block Island Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass

Captain Dave reports another day of good fishing off of Block Island on the Viking Starship.  We started the day inshore drifting until the wind and tide got too strong.  We had a slow but steady pick of Porgy and Sea Bass inshore.  Then we went offshore where we did 3 drops.  Every drop better than the one before.  The last drop was the best.  Sea Bass up to 5 pounds and plenty of nice sized Porgies.  The pool winner was Martin Tejeda of the Bronx NY with a 2.7 pound Scup.
