Sun Nov 10 Block Island Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass

Captain Dave reports another good day of fishing on the Viking Starship. It was a little windier and a little rougher today and the Dogfish were a minor annoyance.  We had a nice mix of medium to large Porgies, quality Sea Bass and a few Cod. Most of our anglers went home with full coolers.  First place in the pool went to Ignacio Castello of Queens with a 2.6 pound Porgy.  Second place went to Kuen Li of Brooklyn with an 8 pound Cod. Looking forward to our special Veteran’s Day  Block Island Jumbo Porgy and Knothead Sea Bass trip. Winds will be moderating overnight and warmest temperatures of the week will be tomorrow.  All active military and veterans sail for 1/2 price tomorrow. All the Viking Fleet Captains, crew and management want to express their deep appreciation for the service and sacrifices made by all past and present men and women of the United States Armed Forces.
