Mon Nov 11- Block Island Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass

Captain Dave reports an excellent day of fishing and catching on the Viking Starship. We had a light passenger list with only 45 anglers on our special Veteran’s Day trip. Glad to have so many veterans taking advantage of the special rate we had today and enjoying a beautiful day on the water.  We had plenty of quality Porgies, Sea Bass, and Bluefish brought on board and over 25 keeper Cod as well.  Only a few Dogfish today so we were not harassed as much as yesterday.  High Hook went to Jimmy Lin with 5 keeper Cod.  First place in the pool went to Duk J You with a 3.1 pound Porgy.  Some tight competition in the edible pool with so many Cod caught by so many anglers. Tao Gao won the edible pool with a 13.6 pound Cod.
