An important message from the Viking Management Team:

Attention Viking Anglers,
First off, on behalf of everyone here at the Viking Fleet, we pray that all of you and your families are healthy and safe through this whole pandemic. For those of you whom have lost someone, we share your pain, and pray for them. They will not be forgotten.
Through these dark times, there will be a light. When we are allowed to sail again, we will be implementing new safety measures aboard our vessels. We will be following the CDC recommendations as well as the state mandates to ensure the safety of all of our passengers.
You will be required to wear a face shield (mask, scarf, bandana, or other approved shield) while on Viking property or any Viking vessel. The wearing of any PPE items during the 2020 calendar year may be a part of our sailing requirements as we will follow the guidelines set by both the NYS Governor and federal and state health professionals.
While the crew will be frequently sanitizing bathrooms and surfaces, you are encouraged to bring your own sanitizer and be responsible for yourself.
All of our trips will be LIMITED LOAD according to temporary guidelines we will have to follow. This is because we will have to implement a 6 ft separation space on the boats. There will be marks every 6 ft between anglers to be able to maintain the social distancing guidelines.
Reservations will be required for all trips so as to not exceed our passenger counts.
We want to get back to fishing as soon as possible. As we all know, it must be done in a responsible way! Fresh fish is very important right now and so is getting outside and catching it yourself in fresh air!
On our overnight offshore trips, you may be subjected to further sanitization requirements, including taking your temperature, cleaning your coolers and gear before boarding the vessel, and more.
Please understand that these are precautions to ensure the safety of our passengers, as well as our captains and crew. If you feel sick, DO NOT COME. We will give you a complete refund and see you next time!
The entire For-Hire industry puts the safety of passengers as the number 1 priority. No one wants to put any human life in danger. Covid-19 is a new danger, and we will all take necessary precautions to preserve the safety of our passengers.
These are unprecedented times, and as much as we would love to get back to normal, we must do it responsibly and take every measure possible to ensure the safety of our passengers and our crew members. These are temporary measures that should help to pave the way to a return to normalcy.
We will keep everyone up to date as the situation with Covid-19 develops and as to when we are allowed to sail on both our Viking Fleet website and social media outlets.
We encourage you to come out with us when we are allowed to sail again, whenever that might be, and we want to ensure you, again, that YOUR safety is our number 1 priority.
After all, we have an 84 year history of keeping passengers safe, and catching you fish!
