Mon June 29 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass

Capt Dave reports excellent fishing on the Viking Starship. We stopped by the lighthouse first thing and drifted finding big Porgies and SeaBass. When the tide began to run we went down the beach and anchored. It was a Porgy Bail Job with some SeaBass mixed in! After that we headed out to the deep and drifted finding Quality SeaBass with everyone catching a few with fish up to 4 lbs. There were also some nice Porgies mixed in. The pool winner was Jang Sung Choi from Flushing, Queens with a 3.3 lb Porgy. We are sailing daily at 5am. Reservations are required.
