Fri Sept 25 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass

Capt Dave reports decent fishing on the Viking Starship. The fishing was fair up close to the island with mostly Porgies and some small SeaBass mixed in. We went offshore and made a couple of drops where we found very nice size SeaBass with some Scup mixed in. We also had about 10 Cod and a couple of Bluefish. The first place pool winner was Fred Hauck from Webster, NY with a 2.81 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Charles Vaughn from Hempstead, NY with a 10 lb Cod.
