Wed Oct 14- Local Cod & SeaBass
Captain JR reports that today we had a CODTASTIC day on the Viking Star. COD on every drop. The most COD we have had this year! We also had some excellent sea bass CATCHING. Everyone had their limit of sea bass with cod mixed in. High hook was Brian Martin from Lynbrook, NY. He combined with his buddy Dominic Frisina from Island Park, NY for a grand total of 12 keeper COD and their limit of sea bass. We have plenty of room on our upcoming trips!!! Today’s Cod pool was won by Roman Stolyarchuk of Morristown NJ with a 12.5 LB Codfish. The Sea Bass pool was taken by Harold Ramsey of Harlem with a 4.5lber.
