Fri Nov 6 – Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass

Capt Dave reports a decent day on the Viking Starship. We had a good shot early with a mix of Porgies and SeaBass up close to the island to about 100 feet out. There were plenty of fish in the shallows and we drifted until it got too fast. We then went out to the deep and anchored up. We had a handful of Cod and some nice sized SeaBass. The dogfish were not much of a bother today. The first place pool winner was Michael Bolton with a 2.5 lb Porgy. Franklin Tejada won the edible pool with a 10 lb Cod.
