Sat June 12 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies

Capt Dave reports a good day of fishing, despite the rough and windy weather, on the Viking Starship. We had more  mixed size Porgies today seeing some smaller fish than we have been seeing. We stayed at the lighthouse today and fished through the tide. It was a solid steady bite of consistent fishing. We also had some Bluefish, 2 Striped Bass and a bunch of Sea Bass that were released unharmed. The pool winner was Emily Perez from Bronx, NY with a 2.4 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Leonardo Wilks from Bronx, NY with a 15 lb Striped Bass.
