Sunday July 4- 1/2 Day Fishing AM

Captain JR reports that  we had a very productive trip this morning on the Viking Star. We fished primarily for fluke the first half of the trip with lots of fluke coming up and some really nice keepers in the mix. The second half of the trip we landed some really nice big sea bass with a few porgies in the mix. Today’s pool was won with a jumbo 7.25lb Fluke caught by Rocky McLean of Westhampton NY. Second place was won by Christian Capano of Yonkers NY who landed a 6lb Fluke.  Everyone here at the Viking Fleet would like to wish everyone a very happy 4th !
