Sat Sept 11 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass

Capt Dave reports a good day on the Viking Starship. We started out Porgy fishing drifting close to Block Island. Fishing was excellent. We then moved to deeper water for the Seabass. We had to pick through a bunch of little ones, but there were some decent keepers. There were also some Fluke and Trigger fish. The first place pool winner was Lazarous from Upper Darby, PA with a 3.3 Lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Brian Jones from the Bronx, NY with a 4 1/2 lb Fluke.
