Mon Sept 20 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass

Capt Dave reports a fantastic day on the Viking Starship. We stayed up close to Block Island all day. The morning started out with tough conditions due to the fast drift. It eased off and fishing got better and better all day. We had plenty of Porgies and SeaBass along with some Fluke and Trigger fish. The first place pool winner was Ronald Showalter from the Bronx, NY with a 2.8 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Fong Ming Chang from Flushing, NY with a 3.7 lb Trigger fish.
