Wed Sept 29 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass

Capt Dave reports an excellent day on the Viking Starship. The north wind has turned the Porgies back on! They bit well and we found large to jumbos  everywhere we went. There were less SeaBass than we have been seeing, but what did come up were quality fish. We also had a couple of Cod and Fluke. The first place pool winner was William Wong from Colonia, NJ with a 3.2 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Alex Miao from NY, NY witha a 5.3 lb SeaBass.
