Tues Sept 28th- 60 Hour Tuna/Mahi LTD

Capt Steve reports an excellent trip on the Viking Star. The trip started out a bit rough trawling but had a solid tuna bite. Made a couple drifts on the bait the first night, there were a couple Tunas. but mostly sharks. The next day there was a consistent bite on the trawl. They chunked around for a bit, lost a couple Tunas and had more sharks coming up. Later that night they steamed to a new area and anchored up and had a slammer Tuna bite all night until they limited out. There were about 4-5 Mahi that came up in the mix, but overall an amazing trip. The pool winner went to Theo Spinosa with a 55lb Yellowfin Tuna. The edible pool winner went to Michael Lombardi with a 10lb Mahi and an honorable mention goes out to Allen Martin with a 66lb Yellowfin Tuna.
