Sat Oct 16 – Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Kothead SeaBass

Capt Dave reports a good day on the Viking Star. We started out fishing close inshore to Block Island. It was a bit slow there so we worked our way out to the deeper water. Fishing got better and better as the day went on. We had decent size Porgies and SeaBass along with a dozen Trigger Fish, 10 Cod and a bunch of Mackerel. The first place pool winner was Lloyd Patterson from Brooklyn, NY with a 2 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Elvin Rodriguez with a 7 lb Cod.
