Thurs Nov 11 – Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass

Capt Dave reports good fishing today on the Viking Starship. The bite was a little off from the past few days, but was still a strong and steady pick. Porgies were mostly large sized and the Sea Bass were a good size, and were plentiful at every drop. There were about 10 decent sized Cod caught on the boat. The first place pool winner went to Ed Deal, A.K.A “Big Deal” from Troy, NY with a 3 1/4 lb Jumbo Porgy. The edible pool winner went to Mr. Lai from Manhattan with an 11 lb Bluefish. Tomorrow’s Porgy and Sea Bass trip is cancelled due weather, but we are looking forward to sailing on Saturday.
