Capt JR reports a great day of fishing on the Viking Star. This morning’s Black fish bite was very good with lots of action. The average size of the keeper fish we had was definitely larger than what we have been seeing. The cooler water is making the larger fish more active. Those who knew how to catch Black fish easily had their limit. The Sea Bass bite was red hot. All anglers caught their limit of Knot Head Sea Bass. The most consistent bite was had by those using jigs with jelly worm teasers. The Sea Bass pool winner went to Dimitry Smirnov with a 4.2 lb Sea Bass. The Cod fish pool winner had a 9.4 lb Cod and the Black fish pool winner went to Brian Martin with a 9.7 lb Black fish.
