Sat June 11 – Montauk Spring Porgies

Capt Dave reports another good day on the Viking Starlite. We headed back to the bay today and found very good fishing with nice size fish. It was a good early morning bite, then it slowed down during slack tide. We moved around a bit and found them again on the ebb tide. We had Porgies up to 3 lbs that were not in the pool along with a few keeper Fluke, Weakfish and some Bluefish. The pool winner was Leo Mickens from Islip, NY with a 2.6 oz Porgy.
