Tue June 14 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies

Capt Dave reports a phenomenal day of fishing on the Viking Starlite. We started out down the beach with a steady pick of nice sized Porgies. When the conditions got better we got in a few drifts at the lighthouse. Jigs were better than bait and we caught 2 1/2 to 3 lb models. We also had some Striped Bass and Blues. Tomorrow’s trip is cancelled. The next scheduled trip is on Thursday.
