Mon June 20 – Montauk Spring Porgies

Capt Dave reports a steady day of fishing on the Viking Star. The pick was a bit slower than usual, but there were some big Porgies in the mix along with a handful of keeper Blue Fish and Stripped Bass. They spent most the morning around the Lighthouse and worked their way over to the beach. Around the beach they had a mixed bag of medium, large and some jumbo Scup. Overall a slower day of fishing, but still steady with some decent sized fish. There was no pool today on the boat and tomorrow’s Montauk Spring Porgies is cancelled. (Tuesday June 21st).
