Thur July 7 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass

Capt Dave reports a pretty good trip today on the Viking Starship. The pick started off pretty slow today, the Porgy bite was off at the Lighthouse, so they worked their way down the beach where they found a good pile of mostly large and some medium sized Porgies. Fished there for 1-2 hours and then worked their way offshore to target the SeaBass. Picked through a lot of small SeaBass but managed to grab some Fluke. Ended up with at least a half a dozen keeper Fluke. The first place pool winner went to Tero Williams from Union, NJ with a 2.6lb Porgy. a man holding a fish a man holding a fish on a boat in a body of water
