Mon July 11 – 1/2 Day Fishing AM
Capt JR reports a good day of fishing for the AM portion of half day fishing on the Viking Star. We started out drifting the local holes, but the slack tide kept the first few drifts quiet with just a handful of SeaBass and Porgies coming up. When the tide finally turned the fishing was red hot with big beautiful SeaBass and Porgies coming over the rail all around the boat. A nice pattering of fluke came up as well with some keepers in the mix to diversify the day’s catch. The first place pool winner went to Kevin Butler with a 3lb SeaBass.
