Thurs July 14 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass

Capt Dave reports good fishing on the Viking Starship. We started out at the lighthouse with a quick shot of Porgies then the strong tide came on and we headed down the beach. We had mixed size Porgies, lots of SeaBass, Trigger fish, Mackerel, and a handful of keeper Fluke to finish out the day. The first place pool winner was Mr. Choi from Flushing, NY with a 2.8 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Phil Sands from Brooklyn with a 4.6 lb Fluke.
