Fri July 29 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass

Capt Dave reports an excellent day of fishing today on the Viking Starship. The conditions around the Lighthouse were beautiful this morning and we were able to catch our limit of large Porgies in a few drifts. Worked our way East for SeaBass and had to pick through a lot of small fish, but everyone managed to keep some nice sized SeaBass and we even had a few Mackerell. The first place pool winner went Nicky Noel from Brooklyn with a 2.8 lb Porgy. We will sailing tomorrow for the 5am- Porgy & SeaBass trip.
