Fri Aug 5 – 1/2 Day Fishing AM

Capt JR reports this morning’s trip on the Viking Star started out with good action, but most of the fish were unfortunately undersized. We took a little ride and found some very large Porgies, lots of Sea Bass, and some nice keeper Fluke for the remainder of the trip. Everyone had a nice mixed bag catch to go home with. The first place pool winner was Milton Garcia from Brentwood, NY with a 5 lb Fluke. The second place pool winner was Eric Larsen from Massapequa, NY with a 3.8 lb Fluke.
