Sat Aug 6 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass

Capt Dave reports another good day of fishing on the Viking Starship. Porgy fishing at the lighthouse was excellent with a ferocious bite!  A new body of fish moved in bringing a lot more medium size fish into the mix. The Sea Bass are still on the small side, but everyone managed to pick through them to get to their keepers. We also had a couple of Fluke and Bluefish. The pool winner was Navarre Armstrong from Teaneck, NJ with a 3 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Mr. Park with a 4 lb Sea Bass.
