Tue Oct 11 – Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a tough day on the Viking Starlite. The morning was difficult, but we did find one spot in the middle of the day that saw a solid half hour of good fishing. We had double header Porgies in the larger size range. We then bounced around in the deeper water and found 3 to 4 lb Sea Bass. The pool winner was Noel Miranda from Long Island City, NY with a 3 lb Porgy. We will be sailing again tomorrow morning on the Viking Starlite, so space is limited.
