Mon Oct 10 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a better day of fishing today on the Viking Starship. The water was much cleaner today, which made for better conditions. We started off closer to Block Island today where we found a nice mix of medium and large Porgies. The SeaBass bite saw an improvement from the last few days with a handful of keeper sized Bass as well as plenty of Mackerell. The pool winner today went to Willy Mcghee from Queens with a 3 lb Porgy. We will be sailing again tomorrow morning at 5am.
