Sun May 14 – 1/2 Day Fishing PM

Capt J.R. reports another enjoyable afternoon of jigging on the Viking Star. We tried a few local hot spots and found striped bass everywhere we went. The catch today consisted of mostly stripers with just a few blue fish in the mix. The stripers that we boated were all sizes and we kept quite a few slot sized fish making for happy anglers.  The pool winner today went to Kailyn Feis from North Babylon with a 20 lb Striped Bass. We look forward to sailing again this upcoming weekend, Saturday and Sunday 8am-12pm and 1pm-5pm.
