Fri May 19 – Montauk Spring Porgies

Capt Dave reports a bail job today fishing on the Viking Starlite. The fish were biting their heads off today with a new body of fish moving into the area. The fish seemed to be more medium to large sized with a few jumbos in the mix. Overall plenty of Porgies to go around with a handful of nice sized ones. There was no pool on the boat day, but the largest Porgy was around 2 1/2 lbs. We are cancelled tomorrow (Saturday, May 20th) for our 5am Spring Jumbo Porgies, but are looking to get back out on Sunday.
