Sat June 3 – Montauk Spring Porgies

Capt Dave reports good fishing on the Viking Starlite. We picked away at mixed size Porgies to start out. It got slow at slack tide, but when the tide got going it was excellent. All big stuff! The pool winner was Francisco Mendoza from Staten Island, NY with a 2 3/4lb Porgy. The Porgy trips are cancelled for Sunday and Monday due to windy conditions. The weather is looking great for Tuesday.
