Sat June 10 – 1/2 Day Fishing PM

Capt J.R. reports little slower afternoon than our morning trip on the Viking starlight. We went back to where we left the fluke earlier in the day, but the opposite tide left us with only a pick and a couple keepers. We switched over to jigs and found lots of big hungry striped bass. Rods bent all around the boat with all sizes coming onboard. The trip ended with a nice catch of slot sized fish and a mix of over/under sized released and a few blues and porgies in the mix.
