Fri June 9- Nantucket Sleigh Ride

Capt Steven Sr. reports an excellent trip offshore for our Nantucket Fluke aboard the Viking Starship. He reports an exceptional trip on a sold boat- retaining a two day bag limit! Fishing was a bit picky the first morning, but after a few hours we were on them. Fishing got better and better as the day carried, with drafts lasting up to an hour and 15 minutes with Fluke coming up all around the boat. We had 20+ fish over 8 lbs and 4 fish over 10 lbs, with the largest hitting over 12 lbs. Overall a awesome trip, weather was beautiful, fishing was hot, and everyone had seemed to have a great time. The first place pool winner went to Jonathan Visek with a 12.3lb Fluke and his brother Donald Visek came in second with a 10.5lb Fluke.
