Back to Viking Fleet Fishing Reports

Sun June 18 – 1/2 Day Fishing PM

Capt Steven Sr. reports a great day of fishing on the Viking Star. We had plenty of action aboard the boat today with plenty of fish and smiles to go around. We saw lots of short Fluke and were able to boat a handful of keepers, along with some Porgies. There was great action all around until we saw a change in tide towards the end and fishing slowed down. We had multiple members of Montauk Youth and family aboard the boat today, celebrating Father’s Day on their annual trip, which made for some great fun for the little ones. The first place pool winner went to William Marshall from Shelter Island, NY with a 2.8 lb Fluke. The second place pool winner went to Ronald Smith from Herkiner, NY with a 2 lb Porgy. Wishing everyone a Happy Father’s Day today from the Viking Fleet. We will now be sailing daily for our half day trips, 8am-12pm or 1pm-5pm. a boy holding a teddy bear
