Thurs July 6 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports excellent fishing on the Viking Starship. At the lighthouse we had a mix of large and jumbo Porgies of the best quality. The Blues were reeking havoc, but we were able to get through them. Out at the Sea Bass grounds there were a lot of little ones, but everyone was able to get their keepers. All in all a great trip! Walter from Brooklyn, NY was the first place pool winner with a 3.5 lb JUMBO Porgy. The edible pool winner was Elmer Valentine from South Jersey, NJ with a 10 lb Bluefish.
