Sun July 9 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports another wonderful day of fishing on the Viking Starship. Porgy fishing was excellent this morning, we started the morning off around the Lighthouse and had our fill of Porgies around 9:30am. After loading up on Porgies, we worked our way offshore to do some SeaBassing and had a pick of medium and large sized fish with some throwbacks. Overall, it was a good day of fishing and we even had a couple of keeper Blue fish and Fluke. The pool winner today was Leo from Brooklyn with a 3.2 lb jumbo Porgy.
